This commission formed in response to the encyclical, Laudato Si, of Pope Francis and in response to his request for religious congregations to join together on a seven-year journey to take action to help save our environment.
In solidarity with other religious women and men, and in conversation with the Sisters of the mission and provinces, the members of the commission are offering education and encouraging practices toward the care of creation and to help protect the most vulnerable people on our planet.
