This commission is reviewing the Constitutions and General Directory, approved for use in 1983.
These documents are the primary guide for the life and mission of the community of the Sisters of Divine Providence. As there are two distinct sections in the documents, two small teams were formed, one to review the theology and spirituality and the other to review governance and administration. The two smaller teams are working collaboratively together and involving the members of the community in sharing their ideas, listening to perspectives, and seeking input, in order to propose changes that are more fitting for the 21st century in our life and ministries.
