Introduction

Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation

Our community was founded by Bishop Wilhelm Emmanuel von Ketteler, a strong faith leader in 1851, who always tried to respond to the suffering and the poor people of his diocese, while speaking out against the social injustices which affected them. Today, we have active groups in each geographic area as we seek to address the global issues of justice, freedom, peace, and the care of creation.

Our efforts flow from the Gospel teachings of Jesus and the leadership of Pope Francis, while we are empowered by God’s love to serve with compassion and try to offer hope and support to those who are powerless.
